CZT Wafers.

IMARAD CZT detectors exhibit high detection efficiencies as well as excellent energy resolutions. Their outstanding performance is obtained by using a simple contact structure. They require neither the application of complex contact geometries, nor the employment of elaborate electronic corrections.

IMARAD offers, off-the-shelf, high quality spectrometer-grade CZT wafers at an unprecedented price.

Standard sizes of wafers, free of grain boundaries, are:
• 20mm x 20mm x 5mm
• 20mm x 40mm x 5mm
• 40mm x 40mm x 5mm

Standard surface finishes of these wafers are:
• Polished on both faces
• Indium contacted: a monolithic cathode and a pixellated
  (2.5 mm pitch) anode
• The interpixel surface is passivated using our standard process.

IMARAD is also offering CZT wafers per customer special requirements, including:
• Different wafer sizes
• Special contact metallization ( e.g. platinum or gold cathodes)
  and diverse geometries
• Wafer mounting services to customer’s electronics boards
